• 'Gigging season' - June 23, 2010 - Robert

  After a winter of rehearsing and investing time in the making of a new cd, we are always glad when it turns May. Because that’s the time that the Oriental ‘Gigging season’ starts. We started off with 2 nice gigs on the Enkhuizen Jazzfestival. Both the concerts, one during the pub jazz, the other on the Bloody Mary concert, were fully packed. Enkhuizen always is a nice ‘start off’ with all of our friends around. This year the Bloody Mary gig had a special twist. We decided to present our new cd: ‘Oriental Jazzband & Kristel de Haak’ during the concert. 100 copies were sold straight away!! Click title to read more.

• Newest CD available online! - May 26, 2010 - Lauryan

  It's now possible to order the newest CD online. The CD, which was released in May 2010, contains 9 tracks performed by the Oriental Jazzband. Both the old bassplayer Joppe as the new one, Lauryan, are playing on the CD. It also features vocals from Barry, Bob and Kristel. The CD is now available online for only € 10,-. • Jazzfestival Keswick summary - May 17, 2010 - Oriental Jazzband

  We're back in the Netherlands after a long weekend in the beautiful 'Lake District' in the United Kingdom, where the 19th edition of Keswick's Jazzfestival was held. The beautiful environment, the great musicians and venues and a warm audience were waiting when we arrived Friday morning. We played three really nice gigs, listened to some great musicians and had the pleasure of receiving many warm compliments from the audience. Click title to read more
